I have learned so much by having the opportunity to serve on the Yokota Honor Guard. I initially decided to volunteer with the guard so that I would be able to represent and honor all Air Force members, past and present, and be able to help put out a professional image to others. Thanks to my supervisor for allowing me to join I have been able to learn how hard the Yokota Honor Guard work to represent the Air Force and honor the men and women that work hard day in and day out to insure the safety of the people of the United States and Japan, our gracious host nation, and insuring that our mission gets done. Being a member of the Yokota Honor Guard, for me, is a way to really give thanks to everyone who honestly works hard and is dedicated to their craft. I am glad to have the to opportunity to honor you; you are truly a “cut above” the rest.
